Super STEM Saturday
Free, Interactive Family Science Event!

: Super STEM Saturday is a free, family-friendly event designed to engage, inspire, and empower students of all ages to explore careers in the fields of science,
technology, math, and engineering. In collaboration with the 4th Annual San Diego Festival of Science & Engineering, Super STEM Saturday is the festival’s first north county science event.
WHEN: Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 10:00 am-2:00 pm. Families with children of all ages are invited to attend.
WHERE: Super STEM Saturday will be held at California State University, San Marcos, located at 333 South Twin Oaks Valley Rd. San Marcos, CA 92096-0001
COST: Admission and parking are free. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
ACTIVITIES: The event will feature over 60 interactive, hands-on science exhibits, from creating soda geysers to handling saltwater shellfish in an oceanography exhibit.
Students will have the opportunity to meet scientists and discuss their fields of expertise. View robots, watch a science fashion show, and learn more about 21st century careers. For more information visit
WHO: Super STEM Saturday is presented by The Classical Academies and California State University San Marcos. The event is sponsored by Genentech and Viasat.
